Megan Perkins, credentials coordinator at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, will lead the board as president in 2019. “I look forward to serving as board chair, especially as the Community Foundation enters a new GIFT Phase,” said Perkins. “Giving back to one’s community is something we all can do. I believe the Community Foundation of Pulaski County is a key organization whose work and future potential has never been greater.”
Perkins is joined by other officers including vice president Vicki Overmyer, treasurer Gregg Malott, and secretary Darlene Mellon.
New board member Karen Jones brings her own experiences to benefit the organization. Jones is the administrative assistant at First United Methodist Church in Winamac and is an advisor for Northern Indiana Power from the Past. As parent of a Lilly Endowment Community Scholar, Karen has personally experienced the benefits made possible through the Community Foundation and said, “I look forward to the opportunity to give back to our community.”
Continuing directors include: Kaye Beall, Bob Conn, Missy Culp, Katie DeGroot, Tim Gearhart, Julie Hanus, Robert Klitzman, Shane Pilarski, Robert Simpson, Don Street, and Dan Zylstra.
“Individuals from around the county serve as CFPC directors, bringing a depth of knowledge, expertise, and perspectives that is crucial to the board’s success,” said Wendy Rose, executive director of the community foundation.
