Taylee and Raegan will reign over activities at the county fair which runs Friday through Wednesday (June 28-July 3).
The 4-H Recognition Program officially opens the fair. The 2024 4-H Royalty were crowned as the grand finale of the program. 4-H tenure members were also honored, and 4-H adult volunteers were recognized.
Among those honored were:
Five-Year 4-H Volunteers: Curtis Kramer, Rebecca Stalbaum and Robert Keller.
10-Year 4-H Volunteers: Dana Field, Becky Crater, Kate Burns and Sharon Cords.
20-Year 4-H Volunteer: Elizabeth Reinhold
25-Year 4-H Volunteer: Angela Bolen
4-H Royalty:
Taylee Ringen, daughter of Brandi and Stacy Ringen, is a ninth-year member of the Tippecanoe Industrious club. Her future plans are to continue working as an assistant manager at Greenbridge horse farm.
Raegan Kasten, daughter of Shay and Heather Kasten, is a 10th-year member of the Monroe Happy Hoosiers 4-H club. Her future plans are to attend Ball State and study psychology.
4-H Court:
Eli Overmyer, the son of Josh and Linda Overmyer, is a seventh-year member of the Harrison Hustlers 4-H club. His future plans are to pursue a career in the medical field, studying internal medicine and becoming a physical therapist or anesthesiologist.
Alana Kasten, daughter of Otto and Tammy Kasten, is an eighth-year member of the Salem Superstars 4-H club. Her future plans are to attend Purdue University and earn her doctorate in veterinary medicine.
Leah Mitchell, daughter of Joshua and Sarah Mitchell, is a seventh-year member of the Harrison Hustlers 4-H club. Her future plans are to become a marine biologist and possibly attend Purdue University.
