Through the Pulaski County Care Fund, CFPC will respond to emerging community needs as a result of COVID-19. The fund was established several years ago by the CFPC Board for urgent and unexpected needs. It is designed to help answer the question “How Can I Help?” The Pulaski County Care Fund will simplify giving for local COVID-19 response, allowing funds to be directed where the need is greatest.
Donations to the Pulaski County Care Fund are being accepted at www.cfopc.org/covid-19response. Donors may also send checks payable to CFPC for the Pulaski County Care Fund. The fund will support community organizations responding to COVID-19 related needs.
Local nonprofit organizations are encouraged to seek funding for virus-related needs by contacting CFPC or filling out a very brief application at https://www.cfopc.org/covid-19response.
Pulaski County Care Fund grants will be made to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and other charitable organizations able to receive tax-deductible contributions such as schools and other public entities. The fund is not able to fund businesses or provide grants to individuals. A list of grantees will be published on the Community Foundation website.
Donors are encouraged to continue their regular support of area nonprofits during this challenging time. Gifts to the Pulaski County Care Fund may not be restricted to a specific organization or purpose. If you prefer to support a specific organization, please give to them directly.

The Community Foundation is committed to protecting the community’s resources, and while the Coronavirus has also brought about a financial crisis, this is when the power of endowment shines through.
CFPC endowment funds are governed by a policy to even out the highs and lows of the market so that in good years the funds don’t overspend and in lean years there are still dollars to grant. CFPC’s investment horizon is forever!
CFPC remains ready to serve its communities, neighbors and families. You can support COVID-19 response efforts through the Pulaski County Care Fund with a donation of any size.
“Together with our caring and generous community, we will weather these uncertain times,” said CFPC executive director Wendy Rose.
