Judy Stinemetz, volunteer Pantry coordinator, reports the Pantry also needs diapers, shampoo, deodorant, paper products and other toiletry items.
Any organization holding a food drive is asked to notify Human Services at 946-6500 so they can put it on their calendar to coordinate the receipt of the food items.
Frain reports, and gratefully acknowledges several businesses and organizations which regularly support the Food Pantry, including Keller Advisory Group donors for helping to put food on the shelves, Good to Go, and Sanders Grocery for matching donations, Winamac Knights of Columbus for their monthly nonfood item donations, and all of those who continue to bring in food or make monetary donations to help feed the community.
Monetary donations may be made to PCHS (put Food Pantry in the memo area, and if you wish, specify food or nonfood items or no preference). Mail to PCHS, PO Box 32, Winamac, IN 46996. Your donation is tax deductible.
