James T. Connolly

WINAMAC - James T. Connolly, 80, of 1180 W 500 N, Huntington, formerly of Winamac, passed away at 4:35 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24, at Heritage of Huntington.
He was born May 2, 1930, in Chicago, to the late Thomas and Hazel Fridlund Connolly. He married Claire L. Mars on April 18, 1953, in the Bethel Bible Church, Minneapolis, Minn. She survives.

Mr. Connolly was raised by his Uncle Art and Aunt Alice Olson in Winamac from the age of 9 with their children Charlene (Fritz) and Virginia (Barr). He served in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne during the Korean War and was a paratrooper having completed 21 jumps. He farmed in Pulaski County for 58 years. He was a member of Bethel Bible Church, Winamac, Pulaski County Farm Bureau, Winamac Rotary Club, Winamac Investment Club and the John Purdue Club. He and Claire moved to Fort Wayne in July 2006 and then to Huntington to the Heritage of Huntington in May 2007.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Bethel Bible Church, and one hour prior to services on Friday. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday (Oct. 1), in Bethel Bible Church, Winamac, with Rev. Thomas Hopewell and Rev. Ron DeGraff officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac. The VFW and American Legion will conduct military graveside services.
Memorial donations may be given to Bethel Bible Church, Winamac, or Parkinsons Awareness Association.
William Doty
July 11, 1934 to September 23, 2010
 WINAMAC - William W. "Bill" Doty, 76, of 213 S. Monticello St., Winamac, died at 7:15 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 23, at his residence.
He was born July 11, 1934, in Winamac, to the late Oley W. and Lucy Shellhart Doty.

Mr. Doty was a member of the Indiana Theatre Owner's Association. He owned and operated the ISIS Theatre in Winamac from Aug. 27, 1958 until his retirement on Sept. 30, 1999. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. During his time in the service in the 1950s he was stationed in Japan.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday (Oct. 2), in Reed Cemetery, Winamac, with John DeSabatine officiating. The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.
Memorial donations may be given to Pulaski Memorial Hospital Hospice.

July 13, 1944 to September 21, 2010
FRANCESVILLE - Roberta Jo Johns, 66, of 2047 S 1200 W Francesville, died at 6:50 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21, at St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove.
She was born July 13, 1944, in Winamac, to the late Burl and Fern Roberts Stout. She was married on June 9, 1962, in Winamac, to Donald R. Johns, who survives.

Mrs. Johns lived all of her life in Francesville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Francesville.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville and one hour prior to the service at the church, Friday. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday (Sept. 24), at the First Baptist Church in Francesville with Dennis Gutwein officiating. Burial will take place in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville.
Memorial donations may be given to the Humanatarian Distribution Center in Francesville.
Michael D. Brewster

NORTH JUDSON - Michael D. Brewster, 59, Winamac, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, at his home.
He is survived by his mother, Eva Brewster of Valparaiso; stepson, Chris Argiris of Knox, and son, Michael Brewster Jr. of Rensselaer.
A memorial service will be at 12 noon, Saturday (Sept. 25) at the American Legion Post 92 in North Judson. Interment by Hoosier Crematory.
Enith E. Taylor
July 31, 1924 to September 14, 2010
NORTH JUDSON - Enith Elaine Taylor, 86, died Tuesday. Sept. 14.
Survivors include sons, Jeffrey Taylor, Jonnie (Debie) Taylor, Jerry (Paulette) Taylor and Jay (Sandy) Taylor; daughters, Jill (Jim) Bush, Judy (Cal) Boersen and Joy (Bruce) Klawiter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in O'Donnell Funeral Home, North Judson, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. CT Friday. Burial will be at Round Lake Cemetery, Knox.

WINAMAC - Louis R. Baker, 73, of 1637 South 300 East Winamac, died at 7:10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 17, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.
He was born Sept. 10, 1937, in Winamac, to the late William and Bertha May Smith Baker.

He was a retired dairy farmer and had lived all of his life in Winamac. He served in the U.S. Army.
A graveside services will be at 9 a.m., Monday (Sept. 20), at Mt. Zion-Franklin Township Cemetery, Winamac.
The VFW and the American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

October 14, 1916 to September 15, 1010
WINAMAC - Mary I. Fritz, 93, of 353 E 100 S, Winamac, passed away at 10:45p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, in the Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.
She was born Oct. 14, 1916, in Pulaski, to the late Grover and Rose Brucker Hedges. She married Everett Monroe Fritz on Nov. 9, 1935, in Winamac. He died Feb. 3, 2007.

Mrs. Fritz was a charter member of Winamac Eagles Auxillary. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Winamac. She was a former member of an Extension Homemakers Club.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday (Sept. 20), at the funeral home with Rev. Glen Meyers officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial donattions may be given to Pulaski Human Services Homebound Meals Program or First Christian Church.
