WINAMAC - Elizabeth J. “Betty” Thompson, 82, of Winamac, passed away Tuesday, April 25, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born Aug. 30, 1940 in Winamac to the late John and Lillian Jane [Oldfield] Vedok.

Great-Granddaughters: Payton Mullings, and Penelope McShane.

Mrs. Thompson enjoyed gardening, shopping and traveling. She attended First Christian Church in Winamac. She adored her cat, Sweetie Pie. Most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, June 10, at the Church of Christ in Itasca, IL. Private burial will be at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oak Brook Terrace, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice.
