WINAMAC - Sally Swanson Lewis, 96, of Bass Lake, passed away Friday, April 14, at her home.

She was born Oct. 19, 1926 in Streator, IL to the late Ralph and Marian [Schonts] Swanson. She was valedictorian of Knox High School’s Class of 1944. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. On Dec. 27, 1953, she married Leland C. “Bud” Lewis at Bass Lake. He passed away Aug. 26, 1993.

A private graveside service will be held at Bass Lake Cemetery at Bass Lake, IN. Burial will take place at the cemetery.
