WINAMAC - Robin R. Solomon, 65, of Winamac, passed away at 2:05 p.m., Thursday, March 30.
He was born Aug. 26, 1957 in North Judson, to the late James E. and Aletha I. [Clark] Solomon. In 1975, he graduated from Pioneer High School in Royal Center.

Mr. Solomon was the owner and operator of Tippy-Canoe Rentals in Winamac for many years. Since his retirement, he enjoyed repairing starting pistols. He also enjoyed attending field trials and training his hunting and retrieving dogs. He loved the outdoors, especially spending time at the Tippecanoe River State Park and on the Tippecanoe River.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Monday, April 10, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Private burial will be at Reed Cemetery in Winamac.
Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Tippecanoe River State Park.
