Georgia D. Bockmann
May 23, 1936 to October 24, 2022
WINAMAC - Georgia Darlene Bockmann, 86, of Lafayette (formerly of Omaha, NE and Winamac) passed away Monday, Oct. 24, at St. Mary’s Healthcare Center in Lafayette.
She was born May 23, 1936 in Omaha to the late George J. and Lucille E. [Schwartz] Bockmann. She was a caregiver for her parents until their passing and also worked in several different restaurants.

Ms. Bockmann was a member of the Winamac First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Susanna Wesley Circle and Kiwanis Club Meal committees. She also cataloged books and videos for the church. She enjoyed watching game shows and playing Bingo as well as doing puzzles, word searches, and arts and crafts. Most of all, she loved being with her family.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1, with Barbara Kleinofen officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Healthcare Center or Winamac First United Methodist Church.
