WINAMAC - Judith M. “Judy” Stankus, 66, of Winamac, passed away Wednesday, July 13, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.

She was born July 20, 1955 in Winamac to the late Horace “Pete” and Mary [Kuhn] Shellhart. She attended St. Peter’s School through eighth grade and graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1974. She earned an associate’s degree in accounting from Ivy Tech.

Mrs. Stankus was retired from 3M in Plymouth. She loved her family with all of her heart and will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, July 18, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. A scriptural wake service will be at 7 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating and will be followed by a rosary service. Private disposition will take place at a later date.
