Dave Budd
October 22, 1961 to July 9, 2022
WINAMAC - Dave Budd, 60, of Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 9.
He was born Oct. 22, 1961 at home in rural Pulaski, to the late Harold and Ruth [Smith] Budd. He graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1980 and Indiana Central University in 1982. On Aug. 5, 1984, he married Karen Rife at Bethel Bible Church in Winamac. She survives.

Mr. Budd was the third generation owner and agent at Budd Insurance Agency in Winamac where he had been an agent for over 40 years. He was raised in the Pulaski Presbyterian Church where he had served as an elder and sang in the choir. He was devoted to serving the Lord through his service to others. He was an active member and deacon at Bethel Bible Church, a charter member of Pulaski County Camp of Gideon’s International, and a 40-year member of Winamac Kiwanis Club. He was an amateur geologist who supported Pulaski County 4-H as a project leader for many years. He and his family volunteered with the Indiana State Museum on numerous paleontological excavations. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.
A Kiwanis service will be at 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Visitation will follow from 3 to 8 p.m. (Wednesday) at the funeral home, and from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, July 14, at Bethel Bible Church in Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the church with Pastor Don Whipple officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac.
