WINAMAC - Dewight DePoy, 56, of Francesville, passed away at 10:10 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born July 5, 1965 in Winamac to Darl and Lorna Fitz DePoy. He graduated from Winamac Community High School in1984 and attended Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis where he studied auto-mechanics.

Mr. DePoy was a hard worker, and in his free time he enjoyed tinkering on motors of all kinds (with his MacGyver-like skills). He worked at Rose Acres Farms in Francesville for over 20 years, and he was planning to retire soon. He loved his family very much, especially his children.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 9, at Tippecanoe Christian Church (5292 W. 750 S. Winamac); and also from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, at the church. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. (Tuesday), at the church with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Cemetery in Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
