Iris R. Malchow
April 26, 1917 to March 13, 2012
WINAMAC - Iris R. Malchow, 94, of Winamac, passed away at 12:40 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.
She was born April 26, 1917, in Idaville, to the late Clarence and Theresa Eaglehoff Carnahan. She married Carl William Malchow on Feb. 16, 1938, in Buffalo. He passed away April 17, 1997.

Mrs. Malchow was a former production worker at Bryan Manufacturing, Monticello, and Eaton Controls, Winamac. She also had been employed as a clerk at the Winamac Branch of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
She was a longtime member of the Pulaski Presbyterian Church, Pulaski. She was also a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star #96, Winamac. She had been a very active member of the Pulaski County Republican Party and had served as the Indian Creek Precinct Committee Woman for many years. She was always present at her grandchildren's sporting and school events. She always looked forward to family gatherings.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The Order of Eastern Star #96 will conduct a service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday (March 16), at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Kleymann officiating. Burial will be in Pro Cemetery, Star City.
Memorial donations may be given to American Cancer Society or the Pulaski Health Care Center.
