NORTH JUDSON - John G. Taylor, 45, of Medaryville, died on Sunday, Jan. 30 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital.

Born on Jan. 30, 1966 in Knox, he was the son of Glenn and Lynda Taylor. He married Nancy Scholz on Sept. 11, 1993 in San Pierre, he . She survives.

Also surviving are; his parents, Glenn and Lynda Taylor of Culver; two daughters: Hannah and Emma Taylor of Medaryville; his father-in-law, Ed Scholz of San Pierre; a sister, Colleen [John] Tripenfeldas of Winamac; a brother-in-law, Gus [Jackie] Scholz of North Judson; and three sisters-in-law: Pam [Ron] Brown of North Judson, Romel Scholtz of San Pierre and Debbie Scholz of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Betty Scholz.

Mr. Taylor was a Knox High School graduate. He was employed in the maintenance department at Plymouth Tube. He loved to hunt, and he loved spending time with his daughters and his wife.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. (CST), Thursday, at Braman and Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. (CST), Friday (Feb. 3), at St. Lukes Community Church in San Pierre. Rev. Richard Holtz will officiate. Burial will be in San Pierre Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to a scholarship fund for Mr. Taylor's two daughters in care of their mother, Nancy Taylor.
