WINAMAC - Jackie Reed, 56, of Pulaski, died 1:23 a.m., Monday, Jan. 30, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
She was born May 12, 1955, in Flint, MI, to Barbara Brown Bowers. She married James Terry Harris Sr. in 1969. He died in 1987. She married Ronald Reed in July 4, 1994 in Pulaski. He survives. The couple made their home in Pulaski.

Mrs. Reed worked as a robotic welder at Emerson (McGill) in Monticello. She was also a co-owner and business partner with her husband in Reed's Decks and Garages. She had also worked as a supervisor at Landis Plastics in Monticello. She enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed swimming in her pool, family get-togethers and cookouts. She also enjoyed going to Blue Grass Music festivals with her husband. She loved to return home to Tennessee to visit friends and family. She especialy enjoyed the Holcomb Family Reunions and the music that family members played there. She suffered from pancreatic cancer for 9 months with her husband as her primary care giver. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac; and after 8 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday (Feb. 4), at the funeral home with Pastor David Norris and Butch Wildermuth officiating.Burial will be in Pulaski Presbyterian Cemetery, Pulaski.
