William A. Link

August 21, 1939 to July 16, 2024

KEWANNA – William A. “Will” Link, 84, of Lake Bruce passed away Tuesday, July 16, at home.

Born Aug. 21, 1939 in Winamac, he was the son of the late William and Fayette (Busch) Link. He married Mary A. Murphy on July 27, 1962. She survives.

Survivors also include daughters Brigid (Michael) Holcomb of Logansport and Karen Elsea of Lake Bruce, sister-in-law Jo (William) Haraf of Sarasota, Fla., grandchildren Jessey (Anna) Holcomb, Danyel (Jordon) Bailey, Alesia Nies, Donny (Laura) Nies and Mandy Elsea (Michael) Horning and great-grandchildren Mykah, Gyllean, Jozyline, William, Lawrence, Reigan, Judd and Thadd.

He was also preceded in death by sister Maria Reichard.

Mr. Link retired from Kewanna Metal Specialties, Inc. He was a member of the Rochester Moose and the Cast Iron Figure Bottle Opener Club. He loved tinkering, fishing and collecting.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, July 22, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, Kewanna. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lake Bruce.
