Paul J. Cooley

February 11, 1954 to October 24, 2016

FRANCESVILLE - Paul Jeffery Cooley, 62, of Francesville, passed away at 12:22 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, at IU Health Arnett, Lafayette.

He was born Feb. 11, 1954 to the late Bob and Jane Cooley.

Mr. Cooley was raised in the Monticello area and attended Indiana University at Bloomington. He was retired from Alcoa, Lafayette.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. Private burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Monticello.

Memorial donations may be made to Mr. Cooley's caregiver, Dina Newkirk, and mailed to PO Box 372 Francesville, IN 47946.

Jessica M. Sturgell

July 9, 1978 to October 21, 2016

FRANCESVILLE - Jessica Marie Sturgell, 38, of Francesville, passed away at 4:49 a.m., Friday, Oct. 21, in Oceloa.

She was born July 9, 1978 in Valparaiso, to Dennis Sturgell and Rose Giesler Ricks. 

She is survived by:

Jessica enjoyed spending time with her daughters, the outdoors, and singing her favorite songs. She was a great story teller. She loved animals and visiting with her friends.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, at the funeral home with Pastor James Ketchen officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville. 

Shirley M. Boessel

October 28, 1933 to October 14, 2016

FRANCESVILLE - Shirley Mae Boessel, 82, of Francesville (formerly of Hobart and Monon), passed away at 7:18 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14, at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.

She was born Oct. 28, 1933 in Waupun, Wis. to the late Melvin and Opal Stelter Kohn. She was a 1951 graduate of Hobart High School and later that year married William Brett "Bill" Hutchens in Hobart, where the couple raised their children. He preceded her in death.

She married Fred Boessel, Jr. who also preceded her in death. The couple owned and operated Boessel Camp Ground and Bait Shop for many years at Lake Shafer in Monon. Many lifelong friendships were made during this special time of their lives.

Mrs. Boessel was a proud member of the Republican Party. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her life was devoted to her family. She was always full of life and loved art, music, and dancing which was a big part of her life and she blessed all her children with these talents as well. She will be sadly missed.

FRANCESVILLE - Ruby Ann Cotner, 84, of Winamac, passed away at 8:16 a.m., Monday, Oct. 17, at Parkview Haven Retirement Home, Francesville.

She was born June 18, 1932 in Winamac to the late William E. and Effie R. Geiger Degner. She married Maurice E. Cotner on Oct. 14, 1953. He passed away Dec. 8, 2001.

Mrs. Cotner was a lifelong homemaker and farmer. She was skilled at driving the tractor and truck as well as cooking all while keeping track of her kids. She was active in her kids' lives, including serving as a leader of the Busy Beavers 4-H Club and supporting the county fair. She was a former member of the Happy Homemakers Home-Ec Club. She was an avid arrowhead hunter and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 21, at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Cemetery, Winamac.

MEDARYVILLE - Lottie De Los Santos, 68, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Conway Medical Center.

She was born June 5, 1948 in Rensselaer to the late Lacy and Sarah Alice Messer Conley.

Mrs. De Los Santos was a member of Conway Church of God and owner/operator of Hair We R for over 25 years. She loved her puppy, Annie Poo. She will be remember for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, at Teaberry Hill Estates Church, Medaryville. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., at the church. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery, Medaryville.

Glenn A. Tiede

June 24, 1949 to October 11, 2016

FRANCESVILLE - Glenn A. Tiede, 67, of Francesville, passed away at 8:27 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, at St. Joseph Hospital, Ft. Wayne, after sustaining injuries in a grain elevator accident two weeks prior.

He was born on June 24, 1949 in Francesville, to the late Donald V. and Marian R. Ringen Tiede.

While in high school, Mr. Tiede enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He was a life member of the Francesville American Legion. He had worked at the Francesville Elevator for over 40 years, where he was well known and well liked. He served on the Francesville Volunteer Fire Department and as a First Responder for many years. He was a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighter's Association. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and hunting. He was a loving dad and grandpa. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 16, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 17, at the funeral home with Dennis Gutwein officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville. The American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

Tim J. Reidelbach

February 21, 1959 to October 10, 2016

WINAMAC - Tim J. Reidelbach, 57, of Winamac, passed away at 8:18 a.m., Monday, Oct. 10, at St. Joseph Hospital, Ft. Wayne, after sustaining injuries in a grain elevator accident two weeks prior.

He was born Feb. 21, 1959 in Rochester to Walter V. and Jessie M. Gourley Reidelbach. He graduated from North Judson - San Pierre High School in 1977. On Aug. 8, 1981, he married Lisa Keller. She survives.

Mr. Reidelbach was a lifelong farmer in Pulaski County. He had previously served as secretary for the North Central Co-Op Board of Directors. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac. He was a sports fan as well as an avid hunter. He loved his family very much and will sadly be missed by all.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating.
