WINAMAC - Jack Nimz, 87, 542 W 100 S, Winamac, died at 6:43 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, at St. Vincent Hospital Medical Center, Indianapolis.

He was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Winamac, to Ernest and Edna Taylor Nimz.

Ralph (Gerry) Ruch, Logansport, Nephew
Jerry (Freida) Ruch, Monticello, Nephew
Carol (Tom) Willis, Logansport, Niece
Dale (Rose) Nimz, Honolulu, Nephew
Jan (James) French, Kewanna, Niece
Several Great Nieces and Nephews

Preceded in death by:
Junior Nimz, Brother
Marie Ruch, Sister
Albert Nimz, Infant Brother

Mr. Nimz was a life long resident of Winamac. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Teamster's Union. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Friends may call after 11a.m., Saturday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Saturday (April 17), at the funeral home with Nelda Buckardt officiating. Burial will be in Winamac Cemetery, Winamac. The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.
