William H. Hoover Jr.

December 9, 1931 to January 25, 2018

WINAMAC - William Hubert "Bill" Hoover Jr., 86 of Winamac, passed away at 8:25 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 25, at Hickory Creek, Winamac.

He was born Dec. 9, 1931 in Winamac to the late William Hubert and Alice McCann Hoover. On Nov. 14, 1953, he married Pauline Rose in Winamac. She passed away May 20, 2017.

He is survived by:

Laura (Daryn) Wilder, Lake Worth, FL, Daughter

Mr. Hoover was retired from Plymouth Tube in Winamac. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Winamac American Legion. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed. 

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 28, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 29, at the funeral home with Mark Hines officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac. The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pulaski Animal Center or Hickory Creek or American Cancer Association.
