WINAMAC - Patricia Sue Cardwell, 80, of Winamac, passed away at 5:35 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

She was born Oct. 31, 1937 in Webb City, MO to the late Charles and Doris Webster Mayfield Sr. On Oct. 8, 1955, she married Elmer Clyde Cardwell in Crown Point. He passed away March 11, 2004.

She is survived by: 
Brian (Janet) Cardwell, Kouts, Son 
Bret Cardwell, Winamac, Son
8 Grandchildren 
7 Great grandchildren 
Charles (Maurine) Mayfield Jr., Ohio, brother

Preceded in death by: 
Michael David Cardwell, Son 
Joann Matheny, Sister 
Joyce Mayfield, Sister 

Mrs. Cardwell was a retired baker. She was employed at Wise Way Foods in Griffith, for over seven years. She was a graduate of Gary Edison High School in Gary. She was a "Pink Lady" volunteer at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. She loved playing Bunco with her friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 22, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, Dec. 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxillary.
