LOWELL - The Indiana State Police District #13 All Crimes Policing Team (ACP) conducted an enforcement blitz in Pulaski County Friday (Sept. 29).

The ACP team  joined forces with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department,  and the Medaryville and Francesville police departments for the second time in as many months to conduct a multi-agency law enforcement effort in Pulaski County.

This eight-hour enforcement effort led to 13-traffic citations being issued, 84-warnings, 8-criminal arrests, 1-felony arrest and 2-drug related arrests.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department was very appreciative of the state police assistance with the detail and felt that it was again a very successful effort.

Pulaski County Sheriff Jeff Richwine reported, "The support offered by the Indiana State Police and the All Crimes Policing Team has been very successful. We have had an outpouring of support from the community with many positive comments on social media with respect to our efforts. The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department looks forward to continuing this partnership to fight crime and rid our community of dangerous drugs."

ACP Team Leader Sergeant Aaron Correll said that the excellent working relationship between the agencies helped to make this detail another success. He said, “The ACP Team enjoys the opportunity to work in conjunction with the officers of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department. The Indiana State Police ACP Team will continue to work with these agencies on similar enforcement efforts in the future.”

The Indiana State Police District 13 ACP Team is a team of Troopers who work all seven counties (Lake, Porter, La Porte, Newton, Jasper, Starke and Pulaski) within the district to address drug related activity and deter violent crime. The ACP Team provides additional manpower and resource support to local agencies in order to address specific crime trends within the local communities. The common goal is making each community as safe as possible.
