MEDARYVILLE - Daril Amos Richie, 23, of Monticello, (formerly of Winamac) passed away Friday, Sept. 1, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 16, 1993 in Rensselaer to Robert and Michelle Shirley Richie.

Mr. Richie graduated from West Central High School in 2012 where he enjoyed participating in baseball and track. He was employed as a carpenter at Jim's Construction LLC in Kokomo. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting (with Grandpa Frank), fishing, swimming, and four-wheeling. He was also an avid gamer. He was a caring friend and a loving brother, son, and father. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 7, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Dewlen officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
