WINAMAC - Sharon D. King, 69, of Star City, passed away at 4:35 a.m., Saturday, April 15, at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

She was born May 6, 1947 in Rochester to the late Robert and Olive Johnston Sparks. She graduated from Star City High School in 1965. On Dec. 18, 1969, she married Lonnie L. King in Chicago. He survives.

Alexis Stark, Granddaughter

Samuel Sparks, Clymers, Brother 
Benita (Rod) Henry, Temple, TX, Sister 
Several Nieces and Nephews

Preceded in death by: 
Curtis Sparks, Brother 

Mrs. King was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Logansport, where she was active in the Relief Society and Primary. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 20, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 21, at the funeral home with Rob Bettcher III officiating. Burial will be at Star City West Cemetery, Star City.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
