Second man dies from burn injuries resulting from grain elevator blast

A second man has died from his burn injuries resulting from the Sept. 26 grain elevator explosion in Francesville.

Glenn Tiede, 67, Francesville, passed away Tuesday night at the St. Joseph Regional Burn Center in Fort Wayne where he had been hospitalized since the incident two weeks ago..

Two men were injured in the blast. Winamac farmer Tim Reidelbach, 57, Winamac, died from his injuries Monday morning.

Tiede, a longtime employee of the elevator was assisting Reidelbach unload his grain truck when the blast occurred.
