Pulaski Memorial Hospital will expand its oncology coverage to three Fridays a month to provide the Pulaski County area community with quicker and more convenient medical oncology appointments close to home.

Medical oncologist, Laurence Bates, MD, will see patients the first and second Fridays each month. Dr Bates has a special interest in ovarian and lung cancer.

Michael Slaughter, MD, PhD, will meet with patients the third Friday. His special interests are lung, colon, breast cancer and solid tumors.

Both Dr. Bates and Dr. Slaughter are board certified in oncology and hematology and are affiliated with the Saint Francis Medical Group of Indianapolis.
