Robert H. Krohn

December 18, 1935 to July 10, 2010

 

WINAMAC - Robert H. Krohn, 74, of 5400 W 100 N, Winamac, passed away at 8:25 a.m., Saturday, July 10, in Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

He was born Dec. 18, 1935, in Winamac, to Fred and Esther Olson Krohn. He married Martha K. Davis on Feb. 14, 1960, in Francesvile. She survives.

Mr. Krohn was a member of Bethel Bible Church. He was also a member of Gideon's International. He was a farmer all of his life and a retired rural mail carrier. He was president of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Merit Board. He was active in the Pulaski County community, having served on many boards and committees. He was an active member of the Pulaski County Republican Party.  The Krohns received the Hoosier Homestead Award in 2008.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Bethel Bible Church. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday (July 14), at the church with Rev. Thomas Hopewell officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be given to Bethel Bible Church or Gideon's International.
