Mrs. Sams was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She also was a farmer's wife helping with anything needed, including driving the tractor and combine. She found the most joy in caring for her family – chauffeuring grandkids to sporting events, being everyone’s biggest sideline cheerleader, and making her signature “maccy cheese.” She and Hughie had 63 years of love, lots of laughter, and unforgettable memories. Their back-and-forth banter was an unrivaled part of their one-of-a-kind love. Her spunk and sass will be so missed by all who knew her. She was especially grateful to have visited with family and close friends in her final days. We take comfort in an overwhelming sense of peace, knowing she’s walking hand in hand with her Heavenly Father.
