Tom Goble
December 14, 1936 to October 7, 2019
WINAMAC - Tom L. Goble, 82, of Pulaski, passed away at 12:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7, at his home, surrounded by family.
He was born Dec. 14, 1936 in Winamac, to the late Frank and Helen L. Miller Goble. On April 12, 1958, he married the late Patricia L. "Pat" Crist at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski. She passed away Sept. 30, 2017.

Mr. Goble was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He served several years on the Eastern Pulaski School Board and also had served as Indian Creek Township Trustee. He was retired from Plymouth Tube. After retirement, he worked for PWRTC. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing league at Moss Creek. He loved the Tippecanoe River and all of the rivers he visited throughout the Midwest. He greatly enjoyed canoeing and canoe racing with his boys. He had many fond memories of camping on the river with his friends and family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, at St. Joseph Cemetery South in Pulaski. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery.

William C. Krohn
September 5, 1932 to October 4, 2019
WINAMAC - William Charles "Bill" Krohn, 87, of Kewanna, passed away at 4:32 a.m., Friday, Oct. 4, at his home.
He was born Sept. 5, 1932 in Denham, to the late Charles and Clara Reichert Krohn. In 1950, he graduated from Winamac High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Elizabeth Jean "Libby" Kurz on Aug. 15, 1973 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. She survives.

Bud Krohn Sr., Brother
Mr. Krohn was a lifelong resident and farmer in Pulaski County. He also served two terms as Harrison Township Trustee, eight years on the Pulaski County Welfare Board, and 20 years on the Pulaski County Aviation Board for Arens Field. He enjoyed hunting and watching wildlife. He was a great story teller and enjoyed writing poetry. He was a dog lover.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, at Lake Bruce. The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.

Thomas E. Cosgray
August 18, 1936 to October 3, 2019
WINAMAC - Thomas Eugene Cosgray, 83, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, at JourneyCare in Barrington, IL.
He was born Aug. 18, 1936 in Star City, to Ernest and Ethel Cosgray. He joined the U.S. Army in 1956 after high school graduation. While stationed in France, he enjoyed traveling to many foreign countries. After returning from service, he married Patricia Wentzel on May 10, 1958 in Monterey. She survives.

Also surviving are children Jaqueline Cosgray, Dwayne (Nora) Cosgray, Karen (Jose) Cosgray and Darrel (Betsy) Cosgray; grandchildren, Michelle (Jeremy) Harper, Melissa (Bernie) Malouin, Amy (Harley) Rumentzas, Angela (Drew) Malcovski, Stella Cosgray, Daniel Cosgray, Katie Cosgray and Kyle Cosgray; and four great-grandchildren, Annika, Julianne, Melody and Colton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Leah Jane Newman, Aldonna Zirkle, Norman Cosgray and Bonnie Markley.
Mr. Cosgray worked in manufacturing, a career that lasted almost 50 years. In 1970, the family moved to Crystal Lake. There he started a side family business mowing lawns. It grew into Economy Landscaping where Mr. Cosgray and his sons filled their evenings and weekends installing lawns in Crystal Lake subdivisions.
A visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL.
A second visitation will be from 12 noon to 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Burial will be at St. Anne's Cemetery in Monterey, IN. The American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

May 30, 1971 to October 1, 2019
WINAMAC - Franklin Clemons Jr., 48, of Francesville, passed away on Tuesday Oct. 1, as a result of an auto accident north of Francesville.
He was born May 30, 1971 in Knox, to the late Franklin Delano and Linda Louise Dutchess Clemons.

WINAMAC - Velma Sue White, 87, of Winamac, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.
She was born Nov. 20, 1931 in Hornsby, TN to the late James Aubrey and Alcie Modean Taylor Gee.

Elmer White Jr., Former Spouse
Mrs. White was a hard worker her whole life. In her younger years, she worked as a laborer picking cotton in the cotton fields and taking care of her ill mother at home. She also had worked at Harris Garment Factory and Winamac Coil Spring as well as cleaning houses. She raised seven children, often enduring hardships. She loved all of her family very much. Most of all, she loved the Lord with all of her heart, and is at peace and rest now.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at Winamac Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating. Burial will be at the cemetery in Winamac.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.

Vickie L. Galbreath
October 3, 1961 to September 23, 2019
ROYAL CENTER - Vickie L. Galbreath, 57, of Winamac passed away at 9:27 a.m., Monday, Sept. 23, at Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born Oct. 3, 1961 in Rochester, she was the daughter of Donald E. and Delores “Dee” Galbreath. She was a 1980 Winamac Community High School graduate.
Survivors include her father, Donald E. Galbreath of Winamac; brother, Stephen (Deborah) Galbreath of Plymouth; companion, Scott Richardson of Monticello; nephews Doug (Wendy) Galbreath of Topeka, David (Sheila) Galbreath, of Beavercreek, OH, and Greg (Sara) Galbreath of Sturgis, MI; great-nephews Aidan, Logan, and Evan Galbreath and great-niece Faith Galbreath.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Delores “Dee” Galbreath and sister, Rhonda Galbreath.
While in high school Ms. Galbreath displayed her love for music by playing trombone in the band. Because of her musical appreciation, the Galbreath Scholarship for music students was created. In recent years, she had been expanding her abilities by teaching herself to play violin using online videos. She also had a great love for animals, especially cats, dogs, and horses. She always loved to learn and attended several colleges including Butler University, Valparaiso University, Ivy Tech (where she gained a degree in auto mechanics), and Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis (where she earned a degree in computer technology). She was a member of the First Christian Church in Winamac.
The funeral service will be at 12 noon, Monday, Sept. 30, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery, McKinley Addition.

Scott A. Goble
January 31, 1964 to September 24, 2019
OSCEOLA - Scott Alan Goble, 55, passed away at 3:16 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, surrounded by his family and close friends at his home.

He was born Jan. 31, 1964 in Logansport, Indiana to John and Carol McDonald Goble. He was a 1982 graduate of Winamac Community High School, and graduated from Anderson College in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in sports medicine and athletic training. In 1989 he completed the Mayo Clinic Physical Therapy program in Rochester, MN. He later obtained his MBA from Bethel College where he also served as a certified athletic trainer. On Dec. 19, 1987, he married Leanne Fisher in Union City. She survives.
Also surviving are his father John “Jack” Goble of Winamac, and his siblings Shirley Shidler of Winamac, Susan (Bill) Morris of Rochester, and Stuart (Doris) Goble of Upland. Also surviving are his wife’s siblings and their families including nieces and nephews on both sides. Scott loved his nieces and nephews very much, including many friends and their children whom Scott also held dear.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Goble in 1985.
Mr. Goble has been employed for many years as an outpatient physical therapist with St. Joseph Medical Center in Mishawaka. He and his wife moved to South Bend in 1989; later residing in Granger, then moving to their current home in the Edwardsburg area. He was a creative spirit whose entrepreneurial skills were unmatched. Besides his career in physical therapy, he was a screenwriter and director, marketing guru, craft beer aficionado, and wine maker. He also enjoyed studying history, especially American history including the Civil War and World War II. His faith in the Lord was strong, using the journey of his illness to show God’s presence in his life for the ultimate purpose of touching theirs. He also loved his “Framily” just as much. He and the men of his family were also “Loyal Members of the Water Buffalo” and celebrated each other’s membership whenever they had a chance.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola. A casual celebration of Scott’s life will be held beginning at 5 p.m., Friday, Sept.r 27, at the outdoor pavilion of the Edwardsburg Sports Complex, 27566 U.S. 12,
Edwardsburg, Mich. In Scott’s honor, his family asks, if possible, to wear Cubs, Bears, Purdue or Tie-Died shirts, all things Scott was extremely fond of.
