MEDARYVILLE - Connie Sue Conley, 67, of Medaryville passed away Saturday, Sept. 5.

She was born Sept. 29, 1952 in Portsmouth, OH to William and Jessie Conley Horsely. She married Paul Edward Conley on July 17, 1999 in Medaryville. He survives.

Mrs. Conley attended Teaberry Hill Estates Church in Medaryville. She was retired from the West Side Senior Center where she had worked for nine years. She loved to help others. She enjoyed crafting and flower gardening.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 10, at Teaberry Hill Estates Church in Medaryville. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11, at the church with Rev. Elmer Conley officiating. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept.12, at Remby Cemetery in Bear Creek, OH.

Memorial donations may be made to Teaberry Hill Estates Church.

Audrey L. Clark

June 5, 1926 to September 3, 2020

FRANCESVILLE - Audrey Louise Clark, 94, of Carmel (formerly of rural Jasper County) passed away Thursday, Sept. 3. 

She was born June 5, 1926 in Rensselaer to the late Raymond Howard Sr. and Pansy Mae Hagle Smith. She graduated from Wolcott High School. On Nov. 16, 1946, she married Daniel Clyde Clark Jr. He passed away Feb. 21, 2008.

Mrs. Clark accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a teenager at Milroy Church. Her loving and Godly life was exemplary to all who knew her. Her focus was her family and touching the lives of others. She will be dearly missed “until we are reunited in Heaven.” 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 6, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home with Pastor Chad Pentecost officiating. Burial will be at Osborne Cemetery in Rensselaer.

Mark A. Feece

April 9, 1950 to September 3, 2020

WINAMAC - Mark Aaron Feece, 70, of Winamac, passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born April 9, 1950 in Rochester, to the late Cleon and Phyllis Stout Feece. He graduated from Monterey High School in 1968. On March 23, 1985, he married Sandra K. Kennedy in Winamac. She survives.

Mr. Feece worked for the railroad and at Plymouth Tube. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He was a proud member of the NRA. He was a proud and gentle man who lovingly cared for his wife. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Heath Hiatt officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Monterey.

Tim Troutman

April 13, 1948 to August 20, 2020

KEWANNA - Tim Troutman, 72, of Kewanna passed away peacefully at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 20, at home.

Born on April 13, 1948 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Omer and Mildred Shaw Troutman. He was a 1967 Kewanna High School graduate.

Survivors include his daughters Teresa (David) Davis of Leiters Ford and Andrea (Eric) Callahan of Winamac; brother Terry (Darlene) Troutman of Kewanna; grandchildren Tiffany  (Garrett) Rimpler of Winamac, Brandon Conner of North Judson, Tristan Conner of California, Whitney Hook of Winamac, Rylee Daugherty of Winamac, Meghan (Jordan)  Brewer of Mooresville, Kelsey Callahan of Mooresville and Brenna Callahan of Mooresville.  He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by former wife Sherri Lett of Kewannna,

He was also preceded in death by sister Trudy Haney, step-brother James Cohagen, and step-mother, Grace Troutman.

Mr. Troutman was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He later joined the U.S. Army and served in Operation Desert Storm where he received the Bronze Star. He retired from the army in 1998 as Sergeant First Class. He retired from Plymouth Tube in 2010. He was a lifetime and charter member of the Kewanna James F. Talbott VFW Post 1121 and a member of the American Legion in Rochester. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards with Terry and friends, and attending as many sporting events of his grandchildren as possible. He was very proud of his time in the Marines and Army and made many life-long friends.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel in Kewanna. The funeral service will be private; however, the visitation and graveside service will be open to the public. A graveside service with military rites will be at 11:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 31, at Barnett Cemetery.

Aerielle A. Pearl

June 13, 1989 to August 27, 2020

WINAMAC - Aerielle Anjelica Pearl, 31, of Goodells, MI passed away as the result of a motorcycle accident in Pulaski, Thursday, Aug. 27. 

She was born June 13, 1989 in Mount Clemens, MI.

She is survived by:

Mrs. Pearl had worked as a dispatcher for a trucking company in Port Huron, MI for the past five years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially riding motorcycles, kayaking the Tippecanoe River, going for walks, and hiking. She also enjoyed traveling. She loved to be around her family and friends. She was kind and generous. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her generosity continued after her unexpected passing through the gift of organ and tissue donation.

Betty R. McCarty

October 15, 1930 to August 29, 2020

FRANCESVILLE - Betty Rose McCarty, 89, of Francesville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville.

She was born Oct. 15, 1930, in Salyersville, KY to the late Adam and Ada Arnett Banks. On March 19, 1946, she married Lacy McCarty in Salyersville. He passed away May 4, 2004.

Mrs. McCarty was a homemaker and worked as a cook in the cafeteria at West Central High School for over 15 years. She was a member of the Francesville First Christian Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed the fellowship of her church family. She loved our country and was a very patriotic woman. She enjoyed gardening and canning, as well as fixing large meals for her family. She loved her family very much, especially attending her grandchildren’s activities and spending time with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 3, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home with Ryan McCarty and Jeremy Glasford officiating. Burial be at Independence Cemetery in Medaryville.

Miss Vierke was employed at the Dairy Queen in Winamac. She was a member of CR (Celebrate Recovery) in Knox. She was baptized in the Baptist Church of Etsie Allen. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew. She loved art and poetry. She loved to sing and watch sunsets from the back of a Harley. She was very giving and had a heart of gold. She was eager to please everyone she touched. She was beautiful and loved to flaunt it.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (ET), Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Global Harvest Church in Monterey (Bass Lake). The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., Thursday, at the church with Pastor Ward Allen officiating. Burial will be at the Denham Cemetery in Denham.
