Clyde H. Krug

MEDARYVILLE - Clyde H. Krug, 94, North Judson, passed away at 12:04 a.m., Friday, Dec. 30, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

He was born Sept. 2, 1917, in Grundy County, IL, to the late William and Emma Roeder Krug. He married Mildred A. Smolek on Dec. 16, 1944, in Kouts.She passed away July 7, 2005.

Mr. Krug was a veteran of World War II, attaining the rank of corporal in the U. S. Marine Corps. He fought in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church, Medaryville, and was a former member of the Medaryville Lion's Club.He was a former Cass Township Trustee and also served on the West Central School Board.

Friends may call after 11 a.m., Monday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., (Monday, Jan. 2), at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark's Cemetery, Medaryville.The American Legion Post #328 will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial donations may be given to a charity of the donor's choice. 

Mabel K. Holman

July 26, 1921 to December 28, 2011

WINAMAC - Mabel Kathern Holman, 90, of Lafayette, (formerly of Winamac), passed away at 10 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Rosewalk Commons in Lafayette.

She was born July 26, 1921, in Medaryville, to the late Alfred Russell and Sarah Elsie Sparks Moon. She married Bill J. Holman on June 4, 1944, in the home of her parents in Star City. He passed away on March 25, 2002.

Mrs. Holman was a lifelong resident of the Winamac area, moving to Lafayette in 2005. She was a member of Bethel Bible Church, Winamac.

Friends may call after 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Bethel Bible Church. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., (Wednesday, Jan. 4,), at the church with Rev. Edward Clark and Rev. Scott Tiede officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.

Theresa M. Olson

WINAMAC - Theresa M. Olson, 71, Knox, passed away at 11:32 p.m., Tuesday, Dec.  27, at IU Health LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte.

She was born Jan. 11, 1940, in Winamac to the late Jonas Mathias and Geneva Rosella Weaver Kuhn.

Mrs. Olson was a member of the Eagle Creek Church, Knox. She enjoyed crafts, especially making bird houses. She also enjoyed cooking and fishing.

Friends may call after 11 a.m., Saturday, at Mrs. Olson's residence. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1 p.m., (Saturday, Dec. 31), at the residence, 7675 E 50 S, Knox, with Rev. Edward L. Hasnerl officiating.
Burial will be in Star City West Cemetery, Star City.

October 20, 1925 to December 26, 2011

WINAMAC - Charles E. Overmyer, 86, of Winamac, passed away at 9:35 a.m., Monday, Dec. 26, at Miller's Merry Manor, Culver.

He was born Oct. 20, 1925, in Monterey, to the late John Richard and Ruth L. Reinhold Overmyer. He married Eleanor C. Rinehart on June 5, 1965 Logansport. She survives.

Mr. Overmyer was a 1943 graduate of Monterey High School. He was a retired farmer. He had also worked at Rockwell International in Logansport. He attended Bethel Bible Church. He was a ood Samaritan who was always willing to pull people from snow banks. He enjoyed camping, traveling and taking bus trips. He made lighthouses and bird houses. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends may cal lfrom 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac; and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., (Thursday, Dec. 29), at Bethel Bible Church, Winamac, with Rev. Thomas Hopewell officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey.

WINAMAC - Ronald J. Zeider, 53, Star City, passed away at 9:15 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 25, in St. Vincent Medical Center, Indianapolis.

He was born Feb. 17, 1958, in Winamac, to Wayne and Carolyn Berkshire Zeider.

Mr. Zeider was a farmer in the Pulaski County area. He was a member of Indiana Tuggers Antique Tractor Pulling Association. He enjoyed farming, tractor pulling and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 3 tp 8 p.m., Thursday at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday (Dec. 30), at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Birky officiating. Burial will be in Star City West Cemetery, Star City.

Richard A. Wiebusch

January 31, 1923 to December 22, 2011

WINAMAC - Richard Adolph Wiebusch, 88, of Burlinton, died at 3:18 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, at the North Woods Village, Kokomo.

He was born Jan. 31, 1923, in Mt. Vernon, IL, to the late George and Zada Hudgins Wiebusch. He married Marguerite Kersey Feb. 22, 1964, in Aurora, IL. She survives.

Mr. Wiebusch was an Alzheimers patient for 10 years. He was under the care of the Guardian Angel Hospice. He retired in January 1993 from the Chrysler Transmission Plant in Kokomo. He worked in the engineering department for 30 years. He was a life member of the American Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He enjoyed photograghy and playing his guitar.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1p.m., Tuesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., (Tuesday, Dec. 27), at the funeral home. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.

September 11, 1930 to December 21, 2011

WINAMAC - Donna W. Argentine, 81, Salem, Ark. (formerly of Hammond), passed away at 10:22 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, at NHC HealthCare, West Plains, MO.

She was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Hammond to the late Presley John and Maria Herber Gourley. She married Gene A. Argentine on Feb. 11, 1967, in Hessville. He survives.

Mrs. Argentine lived in Highland for many years before moving to Debary, FL. She then moved to Salem, AR, in 2006. She was employed by Amnex Corp. in Orlando, FL, for many years, retiring in 1990. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and cooking.
