September 9, 1964 to May 31, 2024

WINAMAC - Joe E Markley, 59, of Winamac passed away at 5:20 p.m., Friday, May 31, at his home.

Born Sept. 9, 1964, he was the son of Donald and Margaret (Holland) Markley.

Survivors include his son Zach (Shannon) Markley of Michigan, brother Larry Markley of Peru and sister Melissa (Josh) Behny of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bart Thompson.

Mr. Markley was a skilled welder and worked in various industries throughout his life. During his free time, he enjoyed deer hunting, arrowhead hunting, riding his motorcycle, and was an avid collector of Jim Beam memorabilia.

A celebration of life gathering will be from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac.
