Timonthy P. Hammond
June 25, 1961 to January 23, 2024
WINAMAC - Timothy Paul Hammond, 62, of Winamac (formerly of North Judson), passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23.
He was born June 25, 1961 in Chicago Heights, IL to the late Elmer D. and Catherine W. [Hohner] Hammond.
He is survived by his son Jesse and 12 siblings: Elizabeth, Dan, Jim, Ed, Catherine, Marian, Marty, Rita, Eileen, Robert, Paul and Joe, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Thomas.
Mr. Hammond graduated from Wheeler High School and Valparaiso Tech. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked most of his life as an electrical engineer at Bethlehem Steel.
Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac. His ashes will be scattered in the Tippecanoe River with a private ceremony.
