Judy K. Marcinkowski

December 20, 1944 to July 14, 2023

WINAMAC - Judy Kay Marcinkowski, 78, of Winamac, passed away Friday, July 14, at Northwest Health Porter Hospital in Valparaiso.

She was born Dec. 20, 1944 in Logansport, to the late Russell Dale and Genevieve Opal [Reinholt] Watts. On Oct. 20, 1989, she married Edward L. “Ed” Marcinkowski Jr. He passed away Jan. 4, 2022.

Mrs. Marcinkowski worked at Wilson Foods in Logansport for many years. Later, she and Mr. Marcinkowski owned and operated a bait shop in LaCrosse. They were both members of Lake County Coon Hunters Association and raised coon dogs. She enjoyed cooking and fishing. She especially enjoyed going to the races at Shady Hill. More than anything, she loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Wednesday, July 19, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon (Wednesday), at the funeral home with Youth Pastor Romeo Marcinkowski officiating. Private burial will be at Riverbank Cemetery in Monterey.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
