Mark A. Peterson
1954 to December 2, 2022
WINAMAC - Mark A. Peterson, 66, of Lucerne (formerly of Monterey), passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Community Howard Regional Health Hospital in Kokomo.
He was born Feb. 1, 1956 in Winamac, to the late Amos J. and Sarah K. [Reinholt] Peterson. He graduated from Culver High School.

Mr. Peterson was a retired butcher, having worked at Martins in Logansport, for many years. He was a former member of Winamac Lodge #262 F&AM as well as Shriners. He was a member of the Lucerne Lion’s Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating, fishing, hunting, and playing Frisbee golf. He had a keen eye for Indiana artifacts. He also enjoyed cooking and gardening. He loved his many pets – too many to name! Most of all, he loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 4, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 5, .at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverbank Cemetery in Winamac.
Memorial donations may be made to Lucerne Volunteer Fire Department or Monterey Volunteer Fire Department.
