WINAMAC - Michelle Jeanne “Mik” Bonnell, 63, of Royal Center, passed way unexpectedly at her home Saturday, June 25.

She was born July 18, 1958 in Marion, to Roi and Marla Shimer Rosenthall. She grew up in Summitville, IN and Crescent Beach, FL. She graduated from Madison Grant High School in Fairmount, and attended Ball State University where she met her future husband Mark Bonnell. On March 7, 1981, the couple was married in Marion. He survives.

Mrs. Bonnell was a talented artist who enjoyed reading, listening to music, and flowers. She also was an avid animal lover who enjoyed traveling and spending time at the ocean/beach. The most important part of her life was her family. She was a loving wife and mother who will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Friday, July 1, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Private disposition will take place at a later date.
