WINAMAC - Ruth L. Chupp, 73, of Winamac, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.

She was born June 28, 1948 in Washington, D.C. to the late Curtis E. and Iberia B. Reynolds McClung. On Nov. 13, 1974, she married Fred Chupp in Winamac. He passed away Feb. 5, 2011.

Mrs. Chupp was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winamac. She enjoyed serving the Lord by helping others. She was an avid collector of Elvis memorabilia. In her younger years, she enjoyed the outdoors, especially swimming and camping. She was a devoted woman of God and loving wife, mother, and sister. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 3, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating. Private burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park in Logansport.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church.
