FRANCESVILLE - John A. Feleki, 87, of Francesville, passed away Friday, Dec. 24.

He was born Jan. 17, 1934 in Chicago, to the late Henry and Suzanna Hegyi Feleki. He was a 1952 graduate of Wheatfield High School. On Jan. 27, 1968, in LaPorte, he married Gail Smith Powell. She died Aug. 30, 2021.

Mr. Feleki was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Francesville First Christian Church for over 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and collecting arrowheads. He was a football and basketball fan, especially Purdue sports. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. He and his wife spent many years wintering in Florida. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Francesville First Christian Church. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon, Thursday, at the church with Pastor James Ketchen officiating. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery in Medaryville. The family requests that all visitors please wear masks.
