February 27, 1917 to July 30, 2011

KEWANNA - Helen J. Miller, 94, of Kewanna passed away at 8:10 p.m., Saturday, July 30, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 27, 1917 near Lake Bruce in Pulaski County. On Jan. 6, 1936 she married Robert H. Miller. He preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1994.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Miller and wife Barbara of Plymouth, Judith Mills Scott and husband John of Frankfort, Sandra Blume and husband Fred of Fallbrook, California and Ronald Miller and wife Ines of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla, sister, Irene Miller of Mt. Morris, Michigan and brother, Vern Kissinger and wife Opal of Royal Center, grandchildren, Richard Miller, Randy Miller, Rod Miller, Traci Hilliard, Suzanne Crump, Nancy Gibson, Scott Mills, Eric Mills, Sherry Blume, Darren Blume and Ronald Miller, Jr., 20 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild with also one expecting. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Estella Engle, and sisters, Annabelle Reese, Nora Hattery and Catherine Kane.

Mrs. Miller was a 1935 Kewanna High School graduate. She was a farmer and homemaker. She was a member of Kewanna United Methodist Church, Kewanna United Methodist Church Ladies Group, Rochester Rebekah Evergreen Lodge for over 75 years, Fulton County Farm Bureau, Fulton County Historical Society and she enjoyed gardening and raising flowers.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday (Aug. 2), at Kewanna United Methodist Church with Chaplain Jason See officiating. Burial will be in Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Kewanna.

Memorial donations may be made to the Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery Association and/or Hope Hospice of Rochester.
