Pamela K. Vogt

FRANCESVILLE - Pamela Kay Vogt, 75, of Francesville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 22, at Franciscan Health Rensselaer Hospital.

She was born in Francesville on Oct. 10, 1946 to the late Emil L. and Mary M. Kupke Gutwein. In 1964, she graduated from North White High School in Monon. She attended Purdue University for two years and graduated from St. Joseph College with a degree in elementary education. On July 24, 1966, she married Donald Dean Vogt. He survives.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Vogt was an avid candy maker. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and cross-stitching. She cherished her friendships in the Pulaski County Krazy Quilter Club. She had a zeal for gardening and photography. Music was a big part of her life, especially at Christmastime. Over the years, she sang in numerous music groups and played the French horn, piano, and organ. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her passion in life was supporting her family which was evident in her faithful attendance to her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. From her family: “Her strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ was evidenced in her selfless demeanor and the many ways in which she brought joy into our lives. We will miss her infectious smile, contagious laughter, and compassionate empathy.”

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville.
