WINAMAC - Darrell Lee White, 67, of Indianapolis (formerly of Winamac), passed away at 9:45 a.m., Monday, Oct. 18, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born May 15, 1954 in Winamac. He graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1972. He married Alice Lynn Hogan on Nov. 8, 1975 in Winamac. She passed away July 26, 2018.

Mr. White retired as foreman of the finishing department at Winamac Coil Spring where he had worked for nearly 40 years. He was a proud life member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). Throughout his life, he was active in various church ministries. He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing songs. He was generous and willing to help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., (Oct. 29), at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery (Town Addition) in Winamac.

The family requests that all attendees please wear a facial covering.
