WINAMAC - Jeffrey R. “Jeff” Weyer, 41, of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, at his home.

He was born March 7, 1979 in Merrillville, to Jerry and Judy Johnson Weyer. He graduated from Washington Twp. High School in Valparaiso.

Mr. Weyer worked for NIPSCO as a lineman for many years. He enjoyed motorcycles and cars as well as working with his hands. He was a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. He adored his children, Lexi and Logan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27; and 12 noon to 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 28, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home with Rev. David Norris officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery (McFarland Addition) in Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to First Federal Bank in Winamac, where an account will be established for Lexi and Logan.
