Dalton A. Wallace

May 11, 1995 to December 29, 2020

ROYAL CENTER - Dalton Allen Wallace, 25, of Winamac passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 29, at his home.

Born May 11, 1995 in Winamac, he was the son of Scott Allen and Jenny Grostefon Wallace. He was a 2014 Winamac Community High School graduate and was active in football and wrestling. He also attended Ivy Tech Community College.

Survivors include his two sons Weston and Waylon Wallace of Winamac; his parents of Winamac; brother Deven Allen Wallace and fiancé, Tatum Eberhart of North Judson; grandparents Lew Wallace of Winamac, Rick Grostefon of Winamac and Carol Grostefon (Lurch) of Winamac; and aunt Lynnette (Ron) Meyer of Royal Center. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

He was preceded in death by grandmother Cynthia S. Wallace, and uncle Tommy A. Wallace.

As Mr. Wallace entered adulthood he found a passion for lawncare and landscaping and had just started his own business, D-Z Lawncare.  He took tremendous pride in his work. He was described by those who knew him as a truly delightful, generous and easy going, fun loving person with an incredible smile that would draw one in. He had so much goodness, so much capacity to bring happiness to others around him. He had a bright future and this world will be a lesser place without him.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 4, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Royal Center. A private family service will be held. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery.

A fund for Mr. Wallace’s sons has been set up, and In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to PO Box 487, Royal Center, Indiana 46978.
