WINAMAC - William Scott “Bill” Walters, 46, of Winamac, passed away Tuesday, Aug.4, at his home.

He was born June 21, 1974, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. He graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1993.

From 1994-2008, Mr. Walters worked at Kewanna Metals. He had also worked as a farm hand for his great-aunt, Dorothy Gilsinger. He had attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac. He enjoyed watching movies, reading, and playing chess. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 7, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, at the funeral home with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
