WINAMAC - John R. Tuley, 71, of Winamac, passed away Thursday, July 2, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born Dec. 20, 1948 in Logansport, to the late John Martin and Dorothy Jane Chamness Tuley. On March 11, 1967, he married Nancy Shepherd, in Knox. She survives.

Mr. Tuley was retired from Plymouth Tube in Winamac after 47 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, gardening, canning, mowing, mushroom hunting and floating the river. He also enjoyed bluegrass and country music. He loved a good drive in the country with his wife, especially driving by the kids’ houses. More than anything, he loved his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, July 6, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac.
