WINAMAC - Mona Maydell Bane, 70, Winamac, passed away at 5:38 p.m., Thursday, May 19, at her residence.

She was born June 11, 1940, in Pineland, TX, to Robert and Opal Craig Brown. She married Lee Edward Kelley in 1956 in Crown Point. He passed away March 1978. She was married on Oct. 10, 1986, in Hobart, to Lester L. Bane. He survives.

Mrs. Bane attended the Winamac Assembly of God Church. She moved to Winamac in 2005, coming from Portage.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday (May 24), at the funeral home. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
