Shirley A. Hoffman

January 5, 1948 to September 18, 2019

WINAMAC - Shirley A. Hoffman, 71, of Winamac, passed away at 3:55 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born Jan. 5, 1948 in Kokomo, to the late William J. and Irene Arbuckle Busch. She married Arthur Scheffer in 1967. He passed away in 1983. On Oct. 27, 1990, she married Paul Hoffman who survives.

13 Great-Grandchildren: Alia, Tucker, Cooper, Abigail, Isabelle, Alexa, Nelson, Elliana, Rome, Kade, Zaran, Cazden and Noah.

Mrs. Hoffman was a retired laborer, having worked at Eaton Controls and Winamac Coil Spring. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, and caring for her plants. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be at Star City West Cemetery in Star City.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
