Jimmy L. Shidler

November 18, 1948 to March 4, 2019

WINAMAC - Jimmy Lee "Q-Ball" Shidler, 70, of Winamac, passed away at 4:17 a.m., Monday, March 4, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

He was born Nov. 18, 1948 in Winamac to the late Arnold E. "Jack" and Edith Joyce Robinson Shidler. After graduating from Francesville High School, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by:

Scott A. (Erin) Shidler, Anderson, Son 
Natalie Shidler, Winamac, Daughter-in-law 
Kerri J. (Joe) Thomas, McCordsville, Daughter 
Timothy J. (Tammy) Shidler, Logansport, Son 
James C. "Jimmy" Shidler, Winamac, Son 
10 Grandchildren 
8 Great Grandchildren 
4 Siblings: Janet, Jack, Joe and Jeff 
Several Nieces and Nephews 
Norma L. Smith Shidler, Winamac, Step-Mother

Mr. Shidler worked at Galbreath in Winamac for many years. He was also the owner and operator of Q-Ball's Arcade in Winamac which closed in the 1980s. He enjoyed attending racing events at Shady Hill Speedway. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. 
Private burial will be at Winamac Cemetery.
