Mrs. Bucher often assisted her husband at household auctions, but was most proud of being a homemaker. She had a deep faith in Jesus and was a faithful member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church. She loved her church family dearly. She was creative and enjoyed many hobbies. Especially gifted in the art of stitchery, she crafted many embroidered and crocheted items for loved ones over the years. She loved making others feel special by making and sending greeting cards on birthdays and other occasions. She loved to entertain family and friends. In the summertime, she would host "cousin camp" for the grandchildren. Family gatherings brought great joy to her, and she had a way of making those around her feel special. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., (Saturday), at the funeral home with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
Mrs. Bucher had a heart and passion for missions; therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Apostolic Christian Harvest Call.
