Dwight E. Goble
May 3, 1935 to January 19, 2019
WINAMAC - Dwight E. "Boob" Goble, 83, of Winamac, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19.
He was born May 3, 1935 in Winamac to the late Melfred "Pete" and Martha B. Keplar Goble. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1954 and later served in U.S. Army.
Mr. Goble was a lifelong resident and farmer of Pulaski County. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, American Trapshooting Association and Indiana Trapshooters Association. He was recently inducted into the ITA Hall of Fame. He was a true outdoorsman who cared deeply for both his friends and neighbors as well as any type of animal. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be at Paul's Chapel Cemetery, rural Winamac. The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pulaski County 4-H Shooting Sports.
