Harlan Tomlinson
February 5, 1936 to January 20, 2019
FRANCESVILLE - Harlan E. "Harley" Tomlinson, 82, of Monticello (formerly of Monon), passed away at 12:32 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 20, at Monticello Health Care.
He was born Feb. 5, 1936 in Logansport, to the late George and Loda Sherman Tomlinson. He married Phyllis Fritz on Aug. 5, 1963 in Winamac. She survives.

Mr. Tomlinson served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He was a graduate of Pulaski High School in 1954 and Liberty Bible College. He attended Tri-County Bible Church in Remington. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and working outside in the yard. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Wednesday, Jan. 23. at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. (ET), Wednesday, at the funeral home. Military services will be held at the funeral home following the service. Entombment will be at Roseland Cemetery at a later date.
